Rawlins Davy Reeves are pleased to announce the appointment of private client solicitor Ian Campbell.

Ian qualified in 2008 and has been working in the legal world locally since then.  He specialises in wills, probate and administration of estates, tax and estate planning and also providing legal advice and guidance to families on powers of attorney and court of protection matters.

Ian is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global professional body, comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures.  He is also a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly).

He said: “This is an exciting move for me, a new challenge. I am very much looking forward to helping to shape the private client department and developing it with my new colleagues.”

Ian was born in Canada and his family moved to the UK when he was two.  He has a degree in history from the University of Kent and a graduate diploma in law.  He worked in the recruitment sector before settling on a career in the legal profession.  As a youngster, Ian was an army cadet and at one point considering going to Sandhurst for officer training.

Ian said: “I really enjoy the private client side of the law. It’s incredibly varied and there is the opportunity for great interaction with clients.”
